I...I'd like to extend my sympathy to anonymous. It's my story repeated day in day out.
concerning the images seen on this film they are very dull and annoying. The vibrancy of our community does not appear.
But let's congratuloate that very young man for daring to make this film;Hçope he does not end his life in Tura (one of the desert jails where Jews were put)
however it is not my cup of tea!!!
sultanaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12677825.post-70757688624916040632013-04-05T08:33:16.737+01:002013-04-05T08:33:16.737+01:00We were British Jews. I was a teenager when I was ...We were British Jews. I was a teenager when I was rushed on a plane to Britain via Switzerland (with a useless return visa). My parents remained but left a month later with one suitcase one blanket and 2 Eg pounds minus the tax the Egyptians levied. My aged grandparents left a month later...same scenario.
We were all safe and reunited in London. Penniless but free and safe!
We were FREE! We could say whatever we felt like We could say the word Israel out loud, we could sing the Hatikvah in public without fearing the Muhabarrat.
I have no regrets whatsoever at having left. It was a relief, and I deeply regret that my family and I had not left a long time earlier. Good riddance to a disgusting and sickening country, which a few years after the departure of all Jews became one ENORMOUS garbage bin..
I blame those filthy bastards, for my beloved father’s death at the early age of 52 due to the constant stress that he had to endure in that lousy country.
The hell with them.
How can anyone regret having left is beyond me. I am now a grandmother of 6, and bless the day that I reached new shores. My children and grandchildren never had to endure what it meant to be hounded like criminals. I bless the fact that my parents and grandparents and the rest of my extended family are all buried in England.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
