Hayim Farhi appears barefoot with one eye bandaged or covered and his nose cut off. See this painting reproduced in Avigdor Shinan, ed., <I>Israel: People, Land, State</I> (Jerusalem: Yad Izhak Ben Zvi 2005), p 253.
