It still bears repeating... One may hope that Dar-Al-Islam will not be mired in resentment & worse, in the coming centuries. Tt should be obvious that has been unproductive for the Islamic world- an understatement. I predict that we'll continue to see Israel demonstrate prominence and excellence among the nations - on a grand scale- and, without colonialism - something almost unheard-of in the history of mankind. One may also hope that Diaspora-mindsets come to greater wisdom.sidneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17844805209863692601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12677825.post-60014174169047756992020-04-10T16:28:59.796+01:002020-04-10T16:28:59.796+01:00M. From deep, painful first hand experience. And from a land which was populated by Jews more than a thousand years before the emergence of Islam. There is an unbridgeable chasm between the culture & root-mentality of Jews & Judaism on the one hand, and Islam & Muslims on the other. This chasm is hardly confined to Jews. But it certainly overlaps with my understanding of Muslim behavioral patterns,no matter where they live, no matter what they look like, no matter what their language or local culture may be: But no part of humanity has practiced all three of them so steadily down through the centuries: Without any visible tendency to cease or even hesitate from so doing. Here they are
{1}"What's bred in the bone will not quit the flesh". Victorian proverb

{2}"Those whom the gods would destroy they fist drive mad" Probably Euripides

{3}"Those who believe in absurdities will commit atrocities" will commit atrocities".

Voltaire
None of the above behavioral patterns have been confined to the followers of Islam. But

{3}"Those who believe in absurdities will commit atrocities". Voltaire

None of the above are confined to the followers of Islam. But no branch of humanity has practiced all three so consistently down through the ages, while seeing no compelling motivation to cease and desist. Please GOOGLE: Norman L.
