Tunisians greeting Gaza leader cry 'Kill the Jews!'

With thanks: Michelle

Cries of 'Out with the Jews!', 'Kill the Jews!' greeted the arrival at Tunis airport of the Hamas chief in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, StandWithUs (France) reports.
A few hundred people gathered on 5 January at the Tunis-Carthage airport to welcome Haniyeh. As they waited for him they sang antisemitic chants and slogans to the glory of Palestine and the liberation of Gaza. They carried Palestinian flags, the flags of the Ennahda movement, and the black flags of the Salafists.
Ismail Haniyeh was arriving in Tunisia from Turkey for a two-day visit.
Point of No Return commenter Sammish clarifies what the demonstrators were shouting:
Speaker(One person):" Kick the jews:
Crowd:"Duty" [wajib] (It is a duty)

Speaker:" Expell the Jews"
Crowd: "Duty".

Speaker: "Kill the Jews"
Crowd: "Duty"

I cannot see the "Watch on YouTube" section of the video because the size is larger than your blogger template as seen on my computer.

Please provide the share link too.

Thanks.

The French original post did not do justice to the whole diatribe and slogans uttered by one speaker then followed in repetition by the crowd. Knowning Arabic a bit. I can say that it is more virulent than it appears.

Here is how it sounds:

Speaker(One person):" Kick the jews:
Crowd:"Duty" [wajib] (It is a duty)

Speaker:" Expell the Jews"
Crowd: "Duty".

Speaker: "Kill the Jews"
Crowd: "Duty"

It sounds worse to me... Nazi brown shirts slogans revisitation..

And there is still this hopeless idea held by some delusional lefists Jews that coexistence is possible. What sort of proof do they want to change their minds...

Thanks for this Sammish. It is truly frightening that these demonstrators consider it their duty to kill the Jews.

Why do you think we left Egypt? Also as soon as they detected one of us they made a throat slitting movemnt saying: bokra enti!!!(tomorrow you!)
My mother was so scared!
I was "stupidly" not scared until they started arresting us by the dozen.
On this eve of Shabbat I thank God for being away from that crowd!

And the Tunusian Jews reply saying there are no Zionists in Tunisia? PATHETIC. They need to understand who their friends are, who their enemies are, and that it is time to heed the warnings.

these screams bring back the dark souvenirs of bad days in Egypt. At the beginning we thought they were only screaming and that by staying home we would be safe! Then we started going out again and that is when they caught Jews and beat them.My aunt Lydia who was pregnant got beaten up next to our synagogue. They could not stay in Egypt and decided to go to Israel
Lydia is my youngest aunt, and can be seen in that remarkable picture of The Souery Family.(9 children)Here on your blog
Fortunately they reached Israel and the baby was born there. The first family baby to be a Sabbra (and beautifull too).
